What Families Receive
1:1 Consultation and Project Design
Before the project begins, you'll meet with a dedicated advisor who helps align your child's interests, values, and goals with a project that feels authentic and inspiring. We'll ask questions to clarify your family's expectations, explore your child's passions, and design a meaningful approach that honors both tradition and individuality.
B'nai Mitzvah Project Guide
Receive comprehensive materials and templates designed to help students reflect on their experience, set realistic and attainable goals, communicate their project to the community, and track their progress from start to finish.
Ongoing Guidance and Milestone Check-Ins
We stay with you throughout the process—offering consistent communication to track progress, celebrate milestones reached, troubleshoot challenges, and refine project goals as needed. Our advisors help keep the project moving forward while ensuring it remains meaningful and manageable.
Unlimited Access to TEM Studio (1 Month)
Enjoy unlimited use of our Red Bank studio for one full month—a supportive workspace where your teen can plan, design, collaborate, and reflect with advisor feedback.
Tech and Creative Support
We teach your child how to use tools like Canva to create professional-quality flyers, social posts, progress trackers, and presentations that amplify their project's impact and communicate their purpose effectively.
Community Outreach Coaching
Receive expert guidance on how to approach nonprofits, synagogue leadership, and community partners with clarity and confidence—ensuring every component of the project comes together smoothly and all collaborations are structured appropriately.
Parent Updates and Communication
Parents receive regular text updates on project milestones, areas of growth, and key moments in the experience. We maintain open communication to ensure families stay connected to their child's journey.
Ceremony Presentation Support
We help students prepare materials and presentations to share during their B'nai Mitzvah service—ensuring they can articulate what they learned, why it mattered, and how the experience shaped them. This support helps your child speak with confidence about their work and its meaning.
Reflection and Mindfulness Practice
Our approach integrates structured reflection and mindfulness exercises throughout the experience, helping students connect more deeply with the spiritual values underlying their work. This isn't just about completing hours—it's about understanding why service matters and how it shapes who they're becoming.
Flexible Timeline Based on Your B'nai Mitzvah Date
We adapt our support to fit your family's timeline and your child's project scope, ensuring everything is completed with care and intention before the ceremony date.
