WHAT WE ARE

T.E.M. Studio (The Educationalist Method) is a youth development nonprofit launched in December 2024 in Red Bank, NJ. We create third spaces for teens through creative exploration, service-based learning, and spoken word programming.

Our mission is to nurture self-expression, civic engagement, and emotional well-being through project-based learning and service-oriented experiences. We support teens and their families by providing a place where youth can explore their authentic voices, develop leadership skills, and engage with their communities in soulful, intentional ways.

WHAT WE’RE NOT

This is not a finishing school. We don't smooth edges. We don't celebrate conformity. We celebrate the glorious, uncomfortable, and necessary work of figuring out who you actually are.

We are not here to polish you. Unfinished is not a problem to solve. The mess is not a phase to get through.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

Over the next three years, T.E.M. will expand through Leadership and Service Retreats, Alternative Spring Break opportunities, and year-round service initiatives.

We will scale our teen internship program and scholarship access while cultivating donors and board-led grant efforts.

T.E.M. Studio was founded on a simple, radical belief: that teenagers are not problems to be managed - they are people to be heard. Our founder launched T.E.M. in December 2024 after years working in education, youth development, and community organizing.

 What started as a vision for a third space - somewhere between school and home, between structured and free, between finished and becoming - grew into a full nonprofit studio offering programming rooted in service, creativity, and emotional intelligence.

 The work is personal. The work is for every teen.

WHO IS T.E.M. STUDIO FOR?

T.E.M. is built for teens ages 12-18 who are navigating identity, creativity, service, and school - and the families who support them. School referrals and community organization partnerships are warmly welcomed.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?

We are based at 69 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701. We also bring our programming to schools, community organizations, and houses of worship through our T.E.M. On Site residency model.
