What It Is
- Monthly 1:1 creative mentorship with Mannikka

WHAT WE OFFER
WHAT’S INCLUDED
This how we embrace the messy and unfinished work inside of a teen.

You work directly with Mannikka to find your voice on the page and out loud, while also figuring out what you actually have to say and how to say it. Whether you've filled notebooks or never written a line, you start where you are.

The year moves in cycles: write, workshop, rehearse, perform. You get regular 1:1 time with Mannikka to shape your pieces, feedback on your drafts in between, and every cycle building toward the moment you take the mic. There is enough structure to keep you moving and enough room to write on your own clock.

The Red Bank studio is your basecamp. It is safe. It is cozy, and it is a place to write, workshop, and say scary words out loud.
But it is sacred. And every word uttered in this space becomes an added currency to the wealth of a student’s knowledge.

By building the real craft of spoken word through writing, performance, breath, and delivery, you gain the confidence that carries into every interview, class, and stage for the rest of your life.

The work doesn't stay in the studio. At certain points, you take it out into the community and perform for a real audience. Our belief is a piece isn't finished until someone hears it.

Cost is never the reason a teen doesn't get in. The Lupine Scholarship Fund covers members who can't pay — no application required, just a conversation.
